R9 Norwood v Glenelg Sunday 1410

Postby DOC » Mon May 31, 2021 8:30 pm

Norwood lost badly to the Eagles while Glenelg won by 15 goals against a mixture of highly paid professionals and some blokes who think the right thing to do is bugger off from their club to get a free tracksuit and some match tickets from Adelaide. Actually I think it says more about the clubs that let them do it.

Glenelg will win this by 101 points.

The Parade has never been a HHG.

We had our win for the decade last year.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I can't believe how negative some Palindrome supporters are .

Betting reflects this, $2.75 to win it half way through the year and I reckon that's money for jam. Should be $2.00.

Bays unbeaten now but won't be forever. Sooner or later they'll get a reality check and this will be a Good Thing in the context of their whole season.

I reckon the Redlegs are better than their fans give them credit for. Losing to WWT at eagle park is no reason for shame. By no means will this be a thumping; I reckon it could go either way.

We could start now and we'll still get pretty comfortably rolled. Be the greatest choke in history if this Bays side doesn't win the flag

NORWOOD

Norwood has regained its skipper Matthew Nunn to host Glenelg at The Parade.

Nunn has recovered from the hamstring strain he suffered during the West End State game on May 15, to be listed in the centre square.

Defenders Michael Talia and Lachlan Pascoe are in the Redlegs’ squad of 25 along with the Richards brothers – Zac and Josh.

Possible 20-year-old debutant Tristan Binder has also been listed on the seven-man extended interchange.

Forward Jackson Callow was selected by Hawthorn in the AFL Mid Season draft while ruck Michael Knoll is out with a toe injury.

Matt Vardanega was relegated to the Reserves.
