Fine. You win.

Cooper Sharman.

Just DON'T believe you. You mentioned the unnamed player was leaving after the end of June. When you originally posted your rumour Sharman didn't even know he would be drafted by St Kilda. Generally all newly drafted players would have been well gone before the end of June. You'll have to try better than that.

I think Doc is trying to take the Micky ( no pun on me ) out of Eagles fans

Was it Hoskin who pretty much single-handedly beat us last year at Elizabeth? Eagles can’t afford to drop this game. Looking very strong on paper and will like the wide expanses of Elizabeth.

I would be more than happy if we kept the damage to 5 goals. Unfortunately, I see this as our blowout of the season... 10 goals plus.

No doubt the Eagles are a classy outfit but I reckon this might be closer than some are tipping.

I think the visitors will get over the line here, a goal or two in it.

I sure hope you are right, Stray.
I always fear playing the Eagles... I have too many friends (well, at least I hope they still consider me a friend ;) ) who are Eagles supporters.
The other team I fear playing is Norwood... the vast majority of my students are Legs supporters.

Dogs battled hard (again). Just lacked the class of guys like Stengle Knight and McFarlane and the different targets up fwd (led by underrated Vonvertouch).

Tough team to score against; no side is better at getting numbers back behind the ball.

Presbury continues his career best season and Grace is a classy forward.
Tom Graham was outstanding. Just weeks after being dropped, he worked off Redden including nine marks to two. Thoroughly beaten in ruck but helped negate those Eagle hit outs to the extent we won clearances.

Bulldogs persisted all day but never looked like kicking a winning score. Cameron settling in nicely at CHB for us and Goofy has been solid all year as has Thompson. Interestingly, Jack Hayes has been relatively quiet in all games since the state game. A good sign we can win convincingly without him dominating. Thought Stengle might have had a downer since not being picked up but was quite productive. Goldy's shoulder could be an issue next week. Poole soft tissue injury and not likely till after the bye.

With Marsh out, our only real ruckman, it was always going to be that much harder,
I think the time has come to blood Jakob Thomson, he isn't tall but has a great leap & a bigger body too.
Looks crazy too, that might help lol

Comments from Central supporters are becoming to factual and focusing on the game. I miss the cutting edge comments from Groucho like the placement of the major sponsor on the guernsey. There should be a push to get him back with real issues that matter. :)

You would think when your so called ruckman is out injured a similar type would replace him.
Of course not we'd rather start the game with a bench of four 5foot 7 players.
The time to give Thomson an opportunity was against the Eagles but no we don't.
We name 2 younger players on the extended bench who have no real form behind them.
The week before we play Nason who had 8 possessions on the weekend instead of bringing in Grubb or Cannizzaro.
Unfortunately marsh will be back against West so Thomson unlikely to get a call-up.

Well, a couple of Centrals supporters anyway. Not limited to our ranks either, then or now, just quietly. ;)
