There are a few things for sure:
1. This thing isn’t going away for a long time
2. Victoria government is excelling at being incompetent. Maybe less politics and more actual work may be a good start. This current lockdown is an absolute farce.
3. Federal government thats not much better. We havent had good national government in 15 years.
4. Vaccines of which no-one knows the efficacy or long term effects, but the pharmas have an indemnity so it’s all good because the big pharma industry are totally reliable.
5. Vaccines suddenly appearing en masse a month after a US election where one candidate said they would be available before Christmas and everyone called him a looney. Maybe it’s because the people in charge couldn’t control him so they had to get rid of him.
6. WWIII is going to be a doozy with viruses replacing the rifle

Conspiracy theories thrive when there’s an event with no clear explanation.
Did it originate in a wet market or a lab?
Could the US really have been working with China on genetically manipulating coronavirus? That’s the really scary one. If so; why?
No government is going to fess up to either doing something like biological warfare or admit screwing up to cause a pandemic like this.
Maybe the US should invade China to find these “weapons of mass destruction” or maybe they’ve been participating in it.
There’s my “goal”: to hide what they’ve been doing

Well that's downright wrong - the vaccines rolled out in Australia are highly effective at preventing people who catch COVID-19 becoming ill, and there's growing evidence that they're effective at preventing transmission as well.

So, it’s not downright wrong. No one knows the efficacy level yet. I didn’t say they would be a dud.
Studies in the UK have shown it to be more effective than in clinical trials but they still don’t know about the long term efficacy or the level of efficacy (which is what I questioned).

Both Astra Zeneca & Pfizer have been given provisional approval subject to the evidence of long term efficacy and safety (Point 4.1 in the links below)

I'm not saying don't have the vaccine. Just be aware that they are still experimental.

A conspiracy theory mate of mine suggests its for population control. Too many people for Earths resources. He sent me this. He believes both vaccines will kill the people who take it within 2 years.

Of the 11 cases 8 have been in quarantine during their infectious period as they were close contacts of previously known cases.

I'm still hopeful of going to the footy on Thursday night.

3 of todays cases are day 13 tests, further showing that you can catch it, and test negative for a long time before you realise you have it.
Suggests there will be a number of people getting out of quarantine that might then be positive later.

I won't be shocked if Victoria continue to have cases pop up for a few more weeks.
