Looking at the weekends results, is the division a chance to open up over the back half? Are the good sides ready to flex.

Pooraka 207 - 41
CLG 121 - 46
Lockleys 100 -54 with 35 scoring shots

Ourselves and Pooraka both played the bottom two teams already set for relegation.

Lockleys are ready. Much different side from Round 1. Them and Pooraka by far the best 2 we have played against. Lots can change the second time round as Lockleys showed us. West Croydon can be tough at home so a win like that to Pooraka is saying something as well. Eastern Park may be building as well.

From an outsider looking in it appears as though some teams just match up better against certain teams, I guess we'll get a better feel for where every is at once they've all met twice, it's insane that a team that has won 62.5% of their games isn't even in the 5 and I think they're the silent assassin atm, everyone else has popped their head up to look the favourites at one stage or another but they seem to humming along under the radar with some impressive results, all 3 of their losses were successive.

I think it says more about maybe WC and Fitzroy possibly dropping away over the back nine, as opposed to the top 5 or 6 opening up.

With that being said, Pooraka and Locks the two to beat I reckon.

West Croydon battled all day and it was a credit to them the way they played the game out, game was played in great spirits all day, they look as though they are struggling to field anymore than a dozen or so players that are half fit for A grade standard footy.
Could be a long final run home for them.

Ladder after Rd 10:
14 - Pooraka
13 - Eastern Park
12 - Lockleys
12 - Colonel Light Gardens
10 - Kenilworth
-------------------------

10 - Salisbury
07 - Hectorville
02 - West Croydon
00 - Fitzroy

Round 11:
Hectorville v Fitzroy
Pooraka v Kenilworth
Salisbury v Lockleys
Colonel Light Gardens v West Croydon
Eastern Park - BYE

What a tough division. Only certainty is Fitzroy will be going down a grade end of season, and West Croydon wont play finals. Hectorville are still close enough, but potentially a bridge too far. Results this weekend may keep the door slightly ajar for the Hounds if the 'Burras and Pies drop their matches against sides occupying the two of the top 3 positions.

Salisbury with the bye out the way have a favourable draw, with 4x home games in the back 8 and 3 of those against sides currently in the top 5. West Croydon away in Rd 17 might be cherry ripe for the picking as well, as the Hawks look to close out their season.

Kenilworth with Pooraka & CLG next two games, followed by West Croydon and Fitzroy before the bye. Lockleys (A), Heccies and Salisbury (A) to close out the season - would need to win 2 of their last 3 i suspect to play finals.

CLG have arguably the toughest finish to the season - Hawks this week, followed by Kookas away, the bye, then a tough run featuring Lockleys (A), Salis (A), EP (H) and Pooraka (A).

Eastern Park's draw earlier in the season may prove to be a blessing in the disguise, allowing that extra point buffer, and a finish to the season that has away games against the current bottom two sides and 3 more home games it's hard to see them dropping out the 5.

Lockleys will finish top, if not definitely 2nd - best draw of the lot with 5 home games and only two away matches (one against WC) plus the bye.

If F.Timpano gets back and plays another 5 games he will give it a fair shake from the Bulls, been out for a few games now but is due back.
Shone before he got injured.

Bloke was brilliant against us RD1, would not put him in the best 5 Round 10 but is very noticeable and I'm sure that is important for Umpy votes

Thanks to West Croydon today, they are doing it tough but have some good people involved

Had a kid in the B’s who is 14, great kid and a lot to like about him. Hope he reaches the ultimate level. Had an awesome attitude in a loss where he could have just said screw it. Tried his guts out.
