This will affect a lot of licensed premises, both where I work and a lot of places I was going to things were just getting back to normal with a lot of hard work of owners/employees. This will have a ding in morale at a lot of places.
Back to telling people to sit down and it comes just in time for my first shift for a while, yay. :?

Ya gotta laugh at these poor sheep.

Hardly a case in SA and

1 The big toilet roll run is on again.
2 The sheep have come out in droves for testing.

What exactly are we protecting people from? There is one case in hospital, the rest are just numbers on a press release. There is absolutely no evidence that its life saving.

How bout we have no lockdowns, if it bothers you stay home, if youre sick stay home. We will have continual lockdowns under these circumstances for years because not enough people are getting infected and giving us herd immunity.

Imagine if we had zero tests, what do you reckon the case numbers would be? Would certainly put a stop to their alarmism.

Anyone hear Greg Hunt today start the infertility narrative and how its on the rise in Australia, i wonder where that could be going and what could cause that in the future?

As for the restrictions in SA, i have no words, time for new health "experts" and police commissioner.
Im happy to step in as the Health "expert".
Take responsibilty for your own health, there job done.

Oh and another thing, unless you or your business is named in these public Health orders/directions they do not apply to you.

“To emphasise just how important vaccinations are … not one of those 24 people were vaccinated," NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said today.
"I can also advise that six health workers who attended the party, who were fully vaccinated, not one of those people has been infected."

If true maybe points one and two (above) potentially are dodgy
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Don't often agree with Daisy but I do honestly believe our great grandchildrens history lesson at school will suggest we didn't put enough emphasis on those at risk taking the precautions they need to take.

If you are at risk , you don't need a government law to wear a mask, you can do that anyway...….you don't need the government to ban crowds at AFL games to avoid it and you can still go get vaccinated.

I guess frustration comes from the fact it feels like there is no end game...…..seriously what is it. Are we done when 80%, 90%, 100% of people are vaccinated. Are we done in 5 years time when we are still getting placed in lockdowns and are all frustrated and there is anarchy. What is it...……

The only end game I can see is in 5-10 years time when we have an election and some Trump style politician runs a campaign on the basis of freeing all restrictions, a frustrated population then vote them in.

I agree with you both here and yes I do agree with that Daisy has said.

At some point you have to be responsible for you own health. What's the end game? As whufc said do we keep locking down forever?

My sister and nephew made a mad scramble for the Airport on Sunday to get out of Brissy before any lockdown restricted them, to make sure they could attend my old man's 80th on July 9. Once they arrived in Adelaide they were told they had to isolate for 14 days so the whole exercise became a costly waste of time.

Just been informed that we have to wear masks at the concert and no singing, those poor people around me will be missing out.

I think I'm just gonna suck down as much free piss as I can and leave the concert early.
