People forget her role in this, she offers health advice, the State Coordinator, Grant Stevens, is the one who, along with the transmission committee decide what action is taken as a result of this advice. He's a prickly character though and journo's will be reluctant to throw curly ones his way. Plus, he's got a gun.

Apparently Marshall and Spurrier wanted a lock down, hence the bit of information that got out that we were going into lockdown.
Stevens pissed on their party though, new found respect for him.

Im not convinced it wont happen tomorrow though.
The recent trend has been get the football clubs out then announce a lockdown :D

I didn't understand this. They were isolating and home and apparently complying with the requirements. Why couldn't they just stay there?

If they are that worried, they could have just had security at there place, send patrols past there every so often.

Personally reckon we’d be in lockdown already if the majority of the whole country wasn’t already in lockdown. By that they are holding off as long as possible before pulling the trigger even if it’s by an extra 2-3 days because it’s gonna be hanging around for the next 3-4 weeks. Victoria are kidding themselves if they reckon there are no cases there and our border is freely flowing both ways.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
