Probably no need to go hell for leather on this game. A comfortable win (without taking it for granted) and no injuries just advances our season. Our percentage is the best in the league at the moment, and provides a buffer against teams below us on the ladder.

I hope that the players don't have the attitude of some of the supporters. Just turning up and expecting to win often has the other result. All games are danger games

Could be why we lost to South at home earlier in the year and bad kicking .
Hopefully Sheedy has it under control

Despite the wiggles having upwards of 28 premiership players from last year out, having to debut 32 new players this season & having one of their players in Poole allegedly raped by a South player last week (refer to SA vs WWT thread), they shouldn’t have any problems over coming Westies who are, put simply - putrid.

The only good news for West supporters is that the club is doing well financially.
On field is another story.
Westies would not beat the best Amateur Team at the moment.
An absolute shambles and it is hard to see how we get out of this massive hole.

100 point margin the last time these two sides met at Richmond seven weeks ago.

Fair to say the Eagles have cranked up a notch or three since then. Circumstances probably a bit different to today, though, the Eagles were a couple of games off the top three then, now they're in second, a game and about 45 goals of percentage ahead of Norwood and South with only six games left, a couple of wins ahead of fifth, and three games off top.

Point being that, while the Eagles are capable, busting a gut for a 20 plus goal win probably isn't necessary in the bigger scheme of things.

No disrespect intended, but, home side by 12 to 15 goals.

Full credit to West for fighting the game out and out-playing us in the second half. Hayes B O G by a considerable margin. Tsitas not his usual self (whilst still being effective), spasmodic contributions from a range of others. Redden continues to play well in ruck, just like to see a few more marks around the ground. Norwood will be tricky next week.
