@Trader - the precious soccer people are complaining about a splash of water on their soccer pitch [emoji38] and Charles Sturt Council are at fault for paying more attention to the median strip on Port Road [emoji38]

I might direct them to Modbury FC and then lets see if they still want to complain [emoji38]
I did see that and also saw your response. Definitely worth a laugh or to.

I remember Goodwood oval, which was actually pretty good, but over the years it had its periods in the middle.

Modbury was at a different level of bog, good luck with that one.

I recall TTG was almost rolled mud at times lol.

Genuine LOL that crap.

Interesting, the photos of the patched up grass spots - isn't that done because the overuse from the goal keeper effectively kills the grass and ground, usually the worst part on a soccer ground.. looks like the council has patched it up mid season so they can continue to play safely.. you're welcome.

Bloody precious soccer people.

Also alot easier to keep a median strip with no real foot traffic in top Nick that a area that is constantly used by people.

They are not really been realistic with there expectations are they.

Exactly, if you can't have a median strip looking pristine in the middle of winter you really need to be assessing your horticultural skills.

Woman at work wore a mask on her way in to work today then took it off a few minutes after being here.

The same woman chucked on the sickest voice act all Thursday but then was asked if she wanted to go visit a customer in the afternoon so all of a sudden she was up and running as she crammed into a car with 4 others fermenting the pretend illness around like a ball hair in a vacuum cleaner.

The amount of people that try to take the piss out the current situation.

One of my laziest co-workers came and asked if I could stay back a bit longer to help her out as she wants to work from home because she's sick of hearing about all the COVID talk in here.

I replied with "Are you for real? You don't even work from work"

No shit, she's rocks up late nearly every day and makes up for it by leaving early and she's had more sickies just in this current year than I've had in 15 years.........................sheesh!!!!

Not sure if there is a correlation but we found my slackest workers were by far the most invested in being concerned about catching Covid. Albeit they were 35-44 year olds with no medical history whatsoever.

Funny how many times now they have had to go have covid tests and have the 24-72 hours off waiting for results. I reckon two of them are now well truly above and beyond 5 tests.

They were also the most engaged in the hotspots and how potentially them having being at a Gawler butchers might mean they have to quarantine because of the Munno Para visits by the Argentinian bloke.
