I genuinely thought we were a 50/1 shot of getting on the plane Thursday.

You’ll love it, mate. Tassie is a great place.
Get to the Salamanca Markets early Saturday morning & make sure you have a few pregame/postgame froths at the Waterfront Hotel only a short walk from the ground.
+1 to that.
Waterfront out on the deck with a few beers is awesome on a nice day. Have a mate that has awesome views over the ground

For anyone that's been there recently, do they still have the park where they have little monkeys roaming about? I reckon it was in Inceston?

There was a fascinating town with murals everywhere in Northern Tassie I think, we mainly stayed in Devenport but travelled down the guts to Hobart for a couple of days where we went up Mount Wellington, did some trout fishing and visited Cradle Mountain.

It's been nearly 30 years but I'd love to go back.

Monkeys are in City Park, Launceston

Murals are in Sheffield. Definitely get back if you can, I bloody love the place.

Good luck with the new role Boon, I have faith in you that you will smash it out of the park.

I hope you get the flexibility in the new role to still be an active participant on the forum.

I don't picture Wedgie paying for any beer... just sticks his mouth under the tap...

Nice, have a great day mate.

For some reason I just keep picturing the last Seinfeld episode with Greenday playing in my head.

Yep, a nice dose of sunshine this morning in Mal-bin.

Better keep the strides handy though CM, given the forecast. ;)

For sure. Washed the car, mowed the lawn and been to the gym so far for the day...

Drove past the local footy ground earlier, and despite it being a no spectator affair, there appeared to be a few “advisers” dotted around the ground!
