So the team here who are amongst the world leaders in dealing with Covid infections (not vaccine rollout) don't know what they are doing.

This is the other side of the story the human face of 18 months of uncertainty.

Sydney Protests.

They are not right wing nutters or left wing nutters as portrayed by the SCUM Media.

Most are ordinary Australians like you and me of all political persuasions genders religions races careers etc etc who have had enough of lives being destroyed.

These are some of the comments i have picked up from watching this vid.

Welcome to the Socialist state of Australia.

Manipulation and Bullying

Lose the job i love

People are dying from suicide and depression

Our right to choose.

Peoples well being

We have had enough.

We have a right to protest.

They want to kill us with fear.

I know 7 people who have suicided.

Destroying us and our communities.

A special thanks to the SMS gang
Stevens/MArshalL/Spurrier

Thanks for their outstanding efforts in keeping SA almost free of Covid at present
I was able to got out today, mask and all, and had lunch with my mates
Chiefy, Goldfinger, Cigar Bronson and I had lunch /coffee today , a luxury unabled in many parts of the planet

I watch whats happening all over the world and parts of Australia and appreciate the state of our state
We are indeed living in the Lucky State

We just gotta hang in there , all of us
Hopefully with 80% + vaccination in this state that it gives us freedom without future lockdowns
I seriously doubt we can adequately fill that gap, more lockdowns are inevitable
However , should that be the case lets hope Grant, Steven and Nicola and SA health, SAPOL and others blunt covid, AGAIN

Couple of queries.

He said SARS & MERS are actually worse than Covid (28 second mark), that's not what the experts have been saying.

Also said the virus came out in January 2019 (1 minute mark). I thought it was in November

Let me see if i have this right.
We lockdown the entire country, 26 million people, put lives at risk, kill the economy, endure mental health issues as a result of this all just so a few thousand people each week can return to Australia who have had 18 months to return. What price do we put on this?
If we didnt have returnees we wouldnt have a single case, the Delta variant wouldnt be here etc etc. How serious are the government about your health? One might think the government needs the cases here.
Arent these people just as "selfish" as all the "antivaxxers" and those who protest, dont wear masks, dont check in etc etc?

Why havent we got serious about hotel quarantine? We have had 18 months to get it right, we couldve built something in the middle of no where. We couldve paid peopel enormous amounts of cash to work there, paid for the quarantine of incoming residents and still been well in front financially compared to shutting down the whole country and paying job keeper.
Or every single person could quarantine overseas before coming back to Australia like the cricketers had too when returning from India.
It makes no sense, unless of course the government wants it here.

Has anybody noticed how everything has ramped up since Scotty returned from the G7?

Interesting viewpoint. I certainly agree about the hotel quarantine and wonder why we haven't sorted this out at all before now and a faculty like Howard springs.

To be honest either the federal government is that ******* useless or they want it here.

Unfortunately I'm not sure that can be distinguished easily.

Your point is well made though.

Anybody wonder why no police officers have never caught covid? You know the ones that go and check that the ones who are positive are in quarantine at home. The ones that deal with all the non conformists that are such a danger to the community, ie the anti check in and anti mask brigade
Anybody wonder why no truck drivers that freely travel interstate during lockdowns have never tested positive?

And on a side note, there was never a protest organised for Sydney yesterday, just the police commissioner making it up, a big publicity stunt at the tax payers expense, 1000 police all in one place, not a cheap exercise. Free for all in the rest of Sydney :D
