I know we are all volunteers in this association but it is poor form from the Exec to go on record with something like that.

Who from HV has Coro picked up?

Well… they haven’t accepted our MyCricket transfer requests to date, so nobody yet!
At a guess Rademacher and Bowes, maybe Chipperfield?

It was poor by the association to put in the email that Happy Valley have lost players to Corro due to money.
It's been denied in a reply to the association but I think they would like to have their time again before suggesting that in an email.
As far as I know Valley have lost Nathan Manly to Corro in a coaching capacity. Not sure of other players.
I agree the association have probably been a bit too lenient on clubs wanting to drop down the moment they think the going might be tough.
Reckon they need to tell clubs to harden up more in the future.

Latest "rumors" re program.

Association considering a 6 team or even a 4 team section 2!!!!
Farcical.
This would go against the integrity of the league.

I still don't see why we can't have sections 1-3 all A grade, 4-6 B grade and so on like suggested on the previous page.
The only section that has less than a full quota should be the lowest sections. I.e. 9-10.
2 x 7 team sections, with each team having a bye.

Seems to me, certain club's hold more authority or sway than others trying to do the right thing.

Aren't the Executive trying to change Section 2 to 75 overs??

I believe that motion was originally made by Happy Valley? And was defeated pretty quickly.

I agree with you Moe, this Section 2/Section 3 business is farcical! Hopefully the association can sort it out soon.

Section 2 will be 8 teams this season as per normal.
60 overs per team in 2 dayers.

Well guys it's confirmed, sanity has prevailed and we have eight teams in Sections Two and Three. A good result.

Interesting that Warradale have dropped down to Section Four after finishing top in Section Three and losing their Semi final against South Road last season.

Coromandel B grade up from Section 4 to 2

Southern Warriors from Section 6 to 3

I see South Road have come back up now since Punjab Lions have gone elsewhere to play.

Be interesting to see what Grand Masters will be like after they have come across from PDCA

Flagstaff Hill have approached ASCA (and been accepted) about joining this season so could very well take a Section 2 spot from one of the "reluctant" teams.

What are peoples ladder predictions for Sections 1 and 2?
Leading run scorer predictions?
Leading wicket taker predictions?
Hewett and Zadow Medal predictions?

2 teams.

They wanted to drop to A2 in the comp they were in but were told to stay in A1 which I believe made them reconsider which comp to play in.
I think they've been looking for this move for a few years regardless.

Pfft.
I haven't played for 20 years and I've managed 136 runs in my career.
Going to enjoy captaining all the up and coming under 16s though.
