I think super coach Sheedy plays a huge part in attracting recruits. Has a very good CV to show to prospects. In the 100 odd years of West Torrens/Eagles he has by far been the most rounded and involved coach we have had. He has his head around all aspects of the club. The combination of Christine Williams, Luke Powell, Dave Couzner, Jade Sheedy and Mel have elevated the Eagles to a very high level.

Have been reliably told that Fejo will remain in Melbourne and play for The Bombers in the VFL.

Whereas you guys have lost almost your entire team from last year & I don't hear any real negativity from South supporters.

Will Keegan Brooksby be ready to go if selected in the mid season draft. He IS living in Victoria, not a huge upheaval.

I would have thought that clubs would be looking closely at Harry Boyd do fulfil this role. Has been very impressive this year and seems to have improved quite a bit from last year. He also has the size to be able to come in and contribute immediately.

Bill McCormack from the Dogs has had some interest shown in the past.

Yep, I reckon we've lost him already.
