So no fights, just blokes swinging punches at each other?#bleedredandblue wrote:Lol there wasn’t any fightsWee-man wrote:Eastern park v Trinity apparently called off in last quarter due to fights last night?
Game called off with 4 minutes to go due to an EP player getting knocked out cold in a marking contest, while we only had 16 players left playing mind you lol we were still keen to play but pointless really
Trinity also has a lad go down 10mins into the last with a suspected broken ankle? Probably their best player to
Bit of heat in the game as they had a bloke running around with a swinging arm, hit 3 different players in a 10 minute period and acted like he didn’t know what he was doing.. then he got one back and it was the end of the world, trinity coach is an absolute wanker I might add also!
All in all, was a good hit out considering EP were missing 11 of their starting 21 due to cricket finals today, but still got up by about 3 goals in the end! Trinity should go well in Div 6

Clearly numerous swinging arms in different contests is not a fightHector wrote:So no fights, just blokes swinging punches at each other?#bleedredandblue wrote:Lol there wasn’t any fightsWee-man wrote:Eastern park v Trinity apparently called off in last quarter due to fights last night?

Sounds like some blokes have weird priorities... especially in a trial game!

Followed the rams down to kilburn today, could definitely see kilburn had a lot of players missing! Unlucky. Good game by the rams.

Kilburn had a lot out.RunNCarry13 wrote:Hearing kilburn been struck down with covid? Not good if true. Had them by 14 points.
5-6 out of the A grade plus a few out of there B grade.
Gepps x played well and just had more depth all over the field. Andy going down very early meant Ryan had to ruck all day and late in the game gepps x hit the scoreboard to blow the margin out.
Umpires were inconsistent both ways most off the day. 3-4 times kilburn should have received 25m penalty or gepps yellow card. Headland would mark the ball and get buried into the ground well after the marking contest. Kilburn reacted and turn over so cost Kilburn shots on goal at important stages of the game.
Well played gepps x and hopefully Kilburn get a few important players back next week as I think they will compete well.

In fairness most years clubs have 5-6 out on a week by week basis in their A’s and this year in particular I’d suspect that number is going to get worse.Browny007 wrote:Kilburn had a lot out.RunNCarry13 wrote:Hearing kilburn been struck down with covid? Not good if true. Had them by 14 points.

Absolutely we had 5 in A grade with Covid and I’m sure Elizabeth the same. Even the coach wasn’t there with Covid. We had 23 from b’s and c’s down. Tough day for us with 8 doubling up to not Forfeit. Thanks Elizabeth for the day. Fierce contest in the A grade. Elizabeth too strong in the last 3 minutes. Cracking game of footy.

Looks like Salisbury did a good job on the weekend if they lost as many players as people have suggested

Re: 2022 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Salisbury will be battling relegation all year, will be there and there about against the bottom few sides. Lacking height. Will get beaten up against EP and Lockleys. Covid hit this weekend against Elizabeth is going to hurt momentum. Will be interesting to see how the club rebounds next year, need the older junior grades feeding into the seniors.football tragic wrote:Looks like Salisbury did a good job on the weekend if they lost as many players as people have suggested

Re: 2022 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Should get a clearer picture about things after this week
CLG vs Gepps will be a great game
Salisbury Vs Elizabeth looks one way with Salisbury hit with covid
Lockleys Vs a Kilburn with 6-7 back from injury and covid will be a close game
What`s everyone`s thoughts about this weeks games?

Would have to agree with that “football tragic” after following the Rams last week down to Lionel avenue and seeing what kilburn did with some big outs I’d probably lean towards kilburn this week. Like you said be a cracker game.

Re: 2022 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Year after year we see D4 teams go down to D5 and people talk up them up to go well. Top end D5 teams are good sides and would handle themselves well in the division above.
