The city skyline has changed dramatically in last few years.
Even footscray has more cranes than Adelaide in total!
It is good for the economy, just surprised me to see so many.
Crane convention

In fairness what can they do. Half the time these peeps that steal like that are on crack and who knows what weapons their carrying.
I'm sure there is shitloads of cameras right from when they left the shop right to the carpark. Potentially sees them getting into their car if they have.
Either way it's not the staff items, not worth them risking themselves for a $100 worth of goods. I'm not sure they would be advised to do to much tbh. especially after the auto sprints(?) incident.

Yeah I just couldn't see anything good it would accomplish to confront something in this situation. In this day and age of liability it's just going to cost a place likely Woolies more.Dutchy wrote:whufc wrote:Armchair expert wrote:If you don't want to pay for your groceries go to Hilton Woolworths just saw a guy walk about with a bag full of stuff and the all the staff did was yell "excuse me"

yep my son works at Woolies and they are told not to follow or chase anyone who bolts without paying, if they get into a car they are advised to try and get a number plate - that's it.

Spewing....not his biggest fan but hard to not find him entertaining either as a villan or hero.
I have respect for the fact that he hasn't buckled to professional sport pressures and he plays the game on his terms...
Hate his childish/brattish behavior however so have never been able to really support him.
He will never admit it but there is no way he isnt retiring with regrets of what could have been with his talent.
Reckon his heart is in the right place eg the djokovic charity match but has no emotional intelligence.
