Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water, the Sharks top score for the round and the real Shark, dual premiership winners Mediocre at Best are somehow back in the top four. I’m not quite sure how Feenix managed this feat because his scoring hasn’t been all that brilliant but all you can do is beat the one in front of you and he’s done it enough times to once again be sitting in one of the prime positions.
Of course it’s all about Ecky this season but it’s been all quite on the fantasy board from the Eckster so I’m tipping rankings wise it wasn’t such a good week for him. Even if that was the case, Ecky certainly did enough to secure to beat fellow top eight side Captain Who, a side that has been very consistent this year. Mr T pities the fool that has to face Ecky next…..oh shit.
It was a good week for those duds Poon Army who have somehow stumbled their way back into the top eight in a manner of a lucky drunk at a pub with no bouncers…he somehow keeps getting in. That sort of carry on can’t continue indefinitely surely. Inner Sanctum, HORNEY and Delicious a bit wobbly while several teams in the bottom half of the ladder in Roosters, REBCats, DAISYSDUDS and Hondo all got vital wins to keep their seasons alive.
FISH suffered a frustrating set back and once again was taught one of the golden rules of SuperCoach – don’t pick Jordan DeGoey. DeGoney’s inevitable suspension gives the FISHy one all the excuses he needs to trade the underperforming plonker but the loss to DAISY has seen FISH lose his recent gains. The bottom three teams are also looking wobbly. JOBBY is batting well but not making runs while Richo Richo must be wondering where his next win is coming from, if he’s not, I certainly am. You’re going bad when you are scoring less than me. Chops are another team that is struggling and being a win behind 17th with just 2 out of 10 is not the results that Clots were expecting when they put their team together back when we all rated Carlton.
The bye weeks normally sort the comp out a bit but one thing hasn’t changed…Ecky v Who in the Granny? It would take a fair effort by Ecky to miss out this year as he has in the past.
regards,
