U dogs!!! An 8 goal last quarter to lock in a finals spot was an exceptional end to the minor round.

The First time in finals since 2017 and well done to Thommo.

And Meggsy you are on fire.

Well done to the coaches. Firstly throwing Kendall into the ruck due to Munns injury early. Then Moving Dudley into defence in the second half.

Grant & Schiller fought all day. Iles Liddle McLennan held the defence together. Presbury worked hard and Chisholm stood up when required.

So glad i was wrong super proud of the boys .
Easily the best win under Thommo and the last quarter showed the footy we are capable of playing .
Really pleased for Shay Linke easily his best game at league level he is an enormous talent just have to get rid of the injuries that have held him back.
Hopefully we get some real belief and confidence to take on Port again next week .
From where we have been in the past 3-4 seasons to make the finals has been great.

Watching the replay. Dogs were on 49 points, 10 minutes into the last. Finished on 91. 8 goals in about 20 minutes we wouldn't have done that for a while. We can normally only kick 8 goals a game.

91 - 49 = 42
42 ÷ 6 = 7 goals in 20 minutes.

Point made though; good effort all the same.

I beg to differ, it means a massive amount for us to make it to the finals for the first time since 2017,
5 more wins than last season is a huge improvement,
we have the squad, we will get better and better.

I reckon if our lads can get over one reserves side and find themselves against the other, things could get very interesting.

The Power aren't playing in the AFL this weekend,
will be very interesting to see the side we're up against.

Sorry, yep your spot on. We kicked our first goal in the last quarter at around 6:35 into the quarter to take us from 43 to 49.

So, is the eligibility still 17 professionals max. Must have played at least 3 games of the last 9 and more SANFL games than AFL over the season?

Before we contemplate Ports team I’ll be bracing for the (what do we call them nowadays- sanctions??) punishments handed out today or tomorrow.. hopefully we will get away with $125 fines for various “sling tackles etc” much like Port did the week before.. We could be decimated otherwise
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Reckon your second question doesn't apply as the AFL side is still going. Lycett should play again and possibly McKenzie if he's progressing well, other than him I wouldn't expect too much change.
