I stand corrected.
Some big scores, some low scores, but every game got underway.

Yes, but from what I understand, Flagstaff Hill have pulled out altogether.
Pretty ordinary that a club can't get 1 team together.

156* for Hopkins, takes him past 7000 WYCCC runs into 4th all time at the club.

Heard that as well, unbelievable, in 2018 they had 4 senior grades in the HCA and for years they had 2 u16 teams in juniors.

Since then they have been a feeder team to the Coro clubs.

Terrific effort from Hoppy.
Glad I've retired this season.
I don't like the thought of fetching balls from another suburb off my own bowling.

Just wondering what people in ASCA think of regrading in the lower section's after 4 rounds perhaps?

It's like any sport, there are ways of getting around it to ensure you don't get promoted too highly.

What would be your response to a team trying for an outright win with only 22 overs left in the game, and only 3 runs ahead on first innings?

Nope, they gave up after 11 overs when we were none fa.
I know we are crap, but it took them 57 overs to bowl us out the first innings.
Just a glorified training session for them.
Apparently wanted to give their younger players a bowl, which was the same 4 bowlers as week 1.

“Typical Ramblers” would be the response.

Hahaha.
Yep.
I said the same thing, maybe a few extra expletives in there, plus what do you expect from a club that has Jarrad Benson as a captain.

Wow when did some clubs get a little soft? Dont like playing more cricket and a team trying for an outright? Dont lose in the first place and every little wicket and run can mean the difference between making finals and not.

Embarassing.

One thing to try and win outright, another thing is to waste time. 22 overs isn't going to be the difference between making and missing finals

Nope, not embarrassing.

Embarrassing is sledging and being condescending to a 16yo girl, in section 8.
Embarrassing is your captain not stepping in to say anything.

Your club C777 thinks way too much of itself.

No big deal if you're going out for another hit, would be spewing a bit having to go field.
