Yep, check their website, great value

It's not all you can eat, it's the "Let us feed you" they make a platter up for you to save you having to pick the proteins.

You'll get ribs, wings, pulled pork and brisket and your sides.

You won't need anymore though, it's all that rich and heavy you'll be done when you've had your platter.

Oh, challenge accepted.

We ate it all, had all the meats that you pointed out plus kransky, lose the chicken wings and add more of the other meat and the deal is a bit better.

Went the apple slaw, potato gems, mac & cheese and corn cobs as the sides, no real value there but adds to the American theme.

Overall it was a good experience, the food was brilliant as was the service, whether it's $59 worth.........dunno, probably.

I couldn't find any faults really, the staff were brilliant, they do 90 minute sittings which is more than enough, we were waiting on one person running about 15 minutes but they just went ahead regardless on our request, food was coming out no more than 10 minutes later, every time any of the staff walked past they asked if we needed any drinks.

I can't not give it a 9.5 no matter how hard I try, it's a very smart set up.

100%. It's a great feed and they are on point with their service. Can't knock the place at all.

Yep, in/out very quickly, got their own lager at a reasonable price, the focus is on the meat with a few sides to offset.

The chocolate, caramel and oreo cheesecake to finish off with...................wow! Friggin massive piece though.

Cheers @heater31

No worries.

For me the place is a special occasion joint. The bastards usually hand me a pickle juice shot for my Birthday!

They are also happy to cater for non meat eaters too. Vego sliders or sometimes a selection of smoked vegetable chunks. Corn, cauliflower or pumpkin.

Need to get my shit together to give their Thursday brisket burnt ends special a go.

Not a restaurant , and could have gone in the "Shits" me thread:

For those in the Western suburbs, Chicken Cave on Valetta Rd/Tapleys Hill Rd Fulham has always had the best hot chips in the area, did not know one person locally that didn't go there.

Same family owned for decades, think maybe new owners but the chips have gone downhill rapidly. Not sure if its the oil, not changing it regularly or what, but everyone I know no longer goes there. Gave it one last chance last night but joining the exodus now, no good. Now to find another place

What's your go to pizza and where do you go?

I always get pepperoni plus prawns, used to swear by Lulu's @ Prospect but found the prawns bigger at Bella's @ Paralowie.

Both places are superb and both just under $32 for a party.

Re-visited Doyle's, Watson's Bay on Sydney Harbour last Saturday,
it's been 20 years since the last visit, had the best seat in the house ( we thought so ),
seated beach front with a superb view to Sydney in the distance,
cracked a nice cold bottle of Prosecco from Veneto,
tucked into a platter of Calamari tentacles, Mahi Mahi, charcoaled prawns, Oysters & some juicy plump Tasmanian scallops,
I could eat this stuff all day every day, everything was fresh & extremely tasty & I have to say that if you're in the area at all then do yourself & favour & go there,
If a seagull hadn't swooped in & pinched my last piece of Mahi Mahi, I would have rated Doyle's a 10/10,
SUPERB!!

While not technically a restaurant. Went to a place called Pizza Love U at Seaton on Saturday night. And they served these whopping schnitzels. Had this massive chicken schnitz with parmi sauce and chips for $27. Sensational taste and it lasted 2 meals it was so big. They had other toppings as well. The Mrs had seafood sauce. Served in the pizza box?? There's a few places that do it. Haven't seen anyone south that does them.
