Good luck to Dudley, has so much upside from a physical preparation perspective.
If he comes back could become a midfield weapon for Centrals. As he’ll be fitter

However given it appears it’s between him and Lowe for the last Rookie spot and the much greater upside of Dudley not sure isiah will be back for the Dogs.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Not the clubs fault whatsoever but looking somewhat of a tough off season on the player movement front.

If we end up losing Dudley to go with McLennan all out of the clubs control that hurts.

Then throw in Billy McCormack, Zac Buechner, Hugo Munn and Jarrod Schiller and that's some massive outs.

Looks like the recruits might just be a case of replacing what we've lost rather than adding to the squad to make it stronger.

Is Dudley an AFL player? Seriously? I think he'll be back.
McCormick didn't play last season & we've recruited 2 big blokes to cover him,
The Beuch played 2's & couldn't get a league game,
Munn averaged 1 goal/game & was lucky to get a game in my opinion,
Schiller was struggling in the end too, not getting the ball as much as he used to.
Throw in the boys that were out last season, plus the newbies & it sounds like we're in a much better position.

We're talking to 2 more at the moment but they haven't committed yet.
Any progress with the 2 we are talking to?

If they were the two shopping themselves to numerous clubs both you and us missed out on both.

One met 5 SANFL clubs in one day.

Admittedly in the eyes of an opposition supporter, Lowe’s development impressed me this year and I found myself thinking he’d be good enough to go to the next level and could possibly be a smokie for Tassies initial squad as (by then) an experienced, harder bodied type to supplement what will likely be a relatively young list.

As for Duds, he has the skills and smarts for AFL footy however size and engine would be the queries. Let’s hope he fares better than Izzy when he went west for a preseason.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

I'm pretty sure that we would prefer the other one, fingers crossed.

I would disagree with dogs not having luck with recruiting. We've done well with the players we've brought in so far. Add East, M Lochowiak, Gasper and Grant to that prelim team and we've got a far stronger team. We've replaced the league players we've lost.

I would disagree. Other than Tomkinson, the others don't necessarily look top 21 (to me). Mediocre "statistically". Mclennan and McCormack big outs. Still need a goal kicking mid, that gets 25 plus good disposals. I'm sure we'll get injuries next year. Seems like we're struggling to attract some qualitty, which is understandable, wouldn't be easy.

How is McCormack a big out? Hadn't played since April.
We have 3 outs from the Prelim side (including Munn who really was struggling all year) and have about 7 who would be great INS.
Add to that Chisholm who didn't even start his season until July with no pre season and Monaghan who would have been a great asset last season before he hit a string of injuries. And the organic growth of lads like Callinan, McDonald and Matz.

Last weekend the boys completed some testing with over 20 rating at "ELITE". Kitschke has been very impressive; certainly feel his switch was a win/win for all involved.

Club currently looking at one key back man to complete a decent recruiting period where quality was more important than quantity.

And that's the big thing, the quality over quantity.

Do we need a key back? We have Kendall, Montgomery, Posthuma and Little
