How has he been an assistant at the one club for so long?
Surely you step up or step out
How have any of them been there for so long...being so (mathematically) close to a GF I guess makes clubs hesitant to change.
Only Ken & Chad have been there for a fair while coaching wise. Rest of them are 4 seasons max.
Ken 2013 - 2025
Chad 2015 - 2025
Carr - 2022 - current
Goldsack (as def coach) 2023-current (not sure if he is in or out next year)
Hartlett 2024-current....... (expecting either gone or different postion next year)
Lobbe 2022-current
Willaims 2024 - current
Sutcliffe 2024 - current
Is there a less impressive list of assistant coaches anywhere else in the comp?
The younger assistants/development coaches achieved nothing in their playing careers, who is Williams?
The older ones with premiership success was over 20 years ago at the same club. Where is the outside influence from modern successful clubs, a Geelong, Richmond or Hawthorn type person. Even a Sydney assistant might get them from a prelim to a Grannie
Obviously they are paying way under the soft cap unless Carr is taking most of it
