Classic South Africa being ultra defensive.

Lead by 508 at lunch.
Just read on Cricinfo that this is the fifth instance of a team taking a 500 plus second innings lead against India and the first time since Pakistan did it in 2006.

Stubbs bowled for 94 and Bavuma declared with India needing 549 to win. They are 2/26 and Kuldeep has been sent out as Night-watchman to do a batters job, yeah cool.

It appears SA did everything right yesterday and today Armie. ;)
That's an absolute smashing, Jansen took a ripper to finish the match.

IN beat SA in the 1st ODI
SA won the toss , no big deal, tosses are 50/50 by probability
However , IN has now lost the toss in ODIs 19 times in a row
To put things into perspective if they lose the toss to make in 20 in row in their next ODI : = over a million to one, that being 1,048,576

N/Z 6/155

Williamson 52
plenty of other starts but no one going on with it

See no Santner playing, has he given tests away or injured, just curious

Santner didn't pass a fitness test prior to the match (along with Darryl Mitchell) and that's why he's not playing, NZ obviously going with Bracewell instead.

NZ 9/231 at stumps.
