Daydreaming this afternoon and I came up with a brilliant idea

Cricket Australia find half a dozen spinners who aren't going to play Test Cricket but decent enough....pay them to be net bowlers ,develop illegal actions who cares its only the nets.

Too many traditional spinning actions in Australian cricket

Safely say this isn't the worst call you've ever made.

I must have been dreaming about our batting performances against Pakistan

Selector Tony Dodemaide says Australia’s settled T20 top order has performed well, but veteran Steve Smith remains in contention as a replacement if needed.

WTF

A crossover conversation with the gambling thread, but Paki's were 2.50 for the second game and 2.20 for the third. Am I the only one not seeing how bad we are?

Some interesting changes with the key one being that the final over of the day must be completed.
Currently if a wicket falls in the last over of the day stumps are called but the new rules would mean a new batsman would need to come out and face the music

Geez more night watchman  perhaps they should add that it has to be the batter nominated in that batting position ;)

I think that is a good change. Same as the laminated bat at domestic level.

However, what the hell are they on about with the other rules? If the bat hits the wicketkeeper and it hits the stumps it's not out? Was this ever a problem? Assume it was...

And overthrows aren't overthrows if a fielder passes it to another on the boundary? "whether an attempt to stop the ball or pass it to another fielder close to the boundary - should not be treated as an overthrow."

Pardon?

Surprise, Surprise

Hazelwood ruled out of entire World Cup schedule, wish i was as certain on powerball numbers as i was of that call

Speaking of the World Cup, last nights warm up against the Netherlands, guess what, washed out without a ball being bowled

Was watching the U19 WC final and geez that 14yo kid just went absolutely nuts!
Ended up making 175 but he was dispatching them to all parts. I can see how as 14yo he made a ton in the IPL

Just ridiculous innings, if he is legitimately 14 years old that is just crazy stuff.

They were 2/250 off 25 overs in a Final

Finished at 9/411, surely England can't chase it? Tom Rew would have to make a hundred.
