Absolutely. Glad the cops did us all a favour. We don't have to sit through his wafflings/rantings and justifications. Then the taxpayer burden on us for the rest of his life.

Cracking morning down South. Eldest daughter is doing her IRB course at Pt Elliot, further down we’ve taken the youngest for a surf with her mates at Middleton.

Out on the deck, sunshine, tunes, a frosty beer.

Lighting the Weber in about an hour.

Rack of Lamb, and a bottle of St. Hugo…

Absolutely smashing day today.

Put some beef shorties and pork ribs into the smoker at 11:30.

First frosty one at 12:30. Knocking them over perfectly.

Ribs are nearly ready to wrap. Gold.

Finished last week at my job, boss didn't even call.

Start new one next Monday, new boss called today saying the team is looking forward to me coming in.

Rate it.

i just dont seem to have the knack of doing well in interviews. however, with some recent good runs on the board around the workplace (ive been getting good feedback for a change, its weird, lol), im hoping the time is right for that to change

will also help me get out of being down here at the Port too, its only a matter of time till they work out im a roosters supporter and they all turn on me

Apply for jobs that you have a low chance of getting, it improves your interviewee skills and develops your confidence despite not getting the job, that's the beauty of it, words just flow as you don't have that nervous anxiety of missing out on the job because of how you interviewd..........if you know what I mean.

I did this and got the job. Applied for two roles, one more senior, and managed to snag it.

In retrospect, they were looking for someone with more lived experience, rather than a flash resume, so it definitely pays to aim high.

It worked for me too, I left a place that I had been at for over 20 years as I was offered $45K PA more, only stayed there 6 months before I ended up at my original jobs opposition whilst maintaining the same increase.

Mind you, a couple of "dummy" interviews previously allowed me to just go in there and talk like I would if I was at a bar.
