I'll be there front row centre. Saw Slipknot at The Palace in Melbourne in 05 and then saw them again at the Adelaide Big Day Out two days later. Even if you dont like their music they put on a great live show. If you manage to get your hands on a ticket its well worth going to see.

I saw Machine Head here last year at Thebby. An awesome show.

Your best bet would be to try Ebay. I've purchased many a ticket to a sold out show from there.

If Chris Cheney is not thought by many to be one of Australias top guitarists I'd be surprised.He does it all,strong riffs,lead breaks,rythym and sings up a strom while doing so.Always a great show and did not dissapoint last night.On a side note Children Collide were the support act and another 3 piece band who really impressed me.Young blokes who went hard*.

At one bar Extra Dry on tap $4.50,at another bar same size cup but out of a stubbie ( no less,no more beer ) $6.50 ! The young chick behind the bar had the cheek to tell me " But,like yeah,the ones out the tap are pints " ,yet they are cheaper?

Glad to hear you liked Children Collide. Saw them at Falls last year. They play a very energetic set. I have a feeling they may get on the bill for BDO, fingers crossed.

Considered it, but also had a wedding. Pretty pissed off it was on GF day 'cause I really enjoyed last years and I reckon the line-up was even better this year. Had some mates go but haven't seen them since. This doesn't answer your question, sorry...

Yes the lineup was very good and same - shouldn't have been on GF day. Hopefully someone made it - interested to see what Ladytron were like.

Not sure if you'd be interested, but Stereosonic is on 29th Nov at Bonython Park. Would be worth going just to see Infected Mushroom again.
