Very decent bowler when playing at Birdwood. As was mentioned, would move the ball a fair way, very tough to get away.

Streaky/loose batsman who always seems to make a few.

Bridgy

Postby Tooting Bec » Thu Sep 25, 2008 12:21 pm

Any Reports lads on Bridgy might not have the numbers to fill 2 senior sides this season? I heard the rumour that there has been a mass exodus?

Have heard there is a few leaving

Stuckey - having a go at sturt
Sinkas - to lofty
Jaensch - to Hahndy
Dunbar - to Hahndy

a bit disappointing cause these blokes are all under 21 but still think they will be able to get the numbers for 2 sides. with Gaine & Golding (Aldgate) coming into the side.

My Early, Early Semi Finals Tip:
Palmer vs Woodside
Lobethal vs Kersbrook

Whatever happened to the Northern Districts A grade Batsman coming to join the ranks at Cavalier-land? remember - apparently he is replacing A McDonald at the top of the order!

Things very quiet at Cavalier land......think they're still celebrating their footy win!

Keith Whitcher not playing for Birdwood this season after dropping down to A2s and one side. They'll probably struggle down there as well.

Happy to hear that :) I used to be his bunny through the junior grades and then A grade.

Not sure what we'll get with Birdwood.

Any truth to the rumours from Mylor that Fielke has retired and possibly Bawden, and that both Cooper boys are off chasing ladies? Will Warbs still be leading that rabble and when will Gaunt make some decent runs (and get a sun tan)?
