the score wasnt that good if you were in the brown and gold. i think we went down 38-20 to 1-0. but who didnt expect that. there were some good signs to come out of it as there were 13 players under the age of 20 with teenage bodies still that found a lot of the ball. e/town were a very well drilled side and did not stop running all day. early prediction for them will be top 4, maybe top 2. it will be a very good skillful running game between townies and cove this year.

M Parks beat the shoes by 4 points, was at the shoes game today free kick count was approx 38-15 in favour of Mparks. Needless to say some irate shoe fans after the game...was a good even game whole day. Heard cove won by 10 goals

Sad to hear that .. I was really happy to hear about all the positive staps the hawks had made.
It was always gonna be a tough task on the field against Townies first up. Sadly it seems that they have still got the same feral element in their supporters that makes going down to their ground no fun at all .....

Reynella 20-13, Flagstaff 7-4

A disappointing start by Flaggies. But all credit to Reynella today, after quarter time they played superior footy ... their men outgunned our boys in a big way, and their men also showed up our men after 1/4 time. Still some positives for the Falcons, its only the first game ....

Wow, 39 scoring shots from MV, they are obviously back on track this year! Obviously accuracy isn't always it's best this time of year, but that is A LOT of scoring opportunities!
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Was at the cove porties game and saw a scuffle between a few porties players after the b grade game, would anyone from porties care to elaborate on what happened there. After yesterday i think cove will be hard to beat in both a and b grade this year.

seriously cyclops... get a life u idiot. this is a forum. here to express opinions. ive been around the sfl for yrs, and i know wat sfl crowds are like. unfortunately, the score didnt matter to me. cause the game was disgraced by what happened after! and im positive alot of parents, children and most ppl they're were of the same opinion!!! as for not percievieng the whole club, it's not like this hasn't happened before with them... if the club keep letting idiots like this in. they deserve to be punished!!
if u cant handle ppl expressing there opinion cyclops, get off here! you havent put up a decent post in the past anyway. i gurantee u wont be missed loser!

well done to M/Park yesterday winning by 4 points and will be a side that will keep all very honest.
Dissapointing for us but the first time this 21 have played together and will improve. Must comment on the umpiring display that would of been the worst I have seen!!!! In a game where noone was yellow carded we have a free kick stat of 40/12???????? this against the B grade game umpired by club reps from each side that was so far ahead of the performance handed out in the A grade.

Well done by all other grades for the Shoe.

14 15 goals over C/Beach
16 20 goals over C/Beach
18 3 goals over C/Beach
B grade 15 over M/Park

Whose genius idea was it to give Hackham Edwardstown in the first round? Way to kill off any pre-season morale.

Saw the second half of Aldinga/Marion yesterday. A lot of positives but as I said on the sharks thread, they are in dire need of a ruckman.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.
