I'll put my weather forecaster hat on and predict the wet stuff is going to stay away for a while yet. ;)

Anyone know what the rooms and ground are like?

Yeh both not the best.
Good toasted sandwiches in the canteen tho ;)

Kudos to their club rep tho who sent us an email after the Anzac Day game to apologise for the "coaches boxes" (pop-up gazebo type things which collapsed in the rain)
They have proper ones on order and are hoping to get them soon.

Any truth to the rumours Josh Francou has pulled on the boots for Pulteney? If that's true it looks like they'll be applying for the license to become the 18th AFL team next year.

he played 1 game last year DB, I heard last week that he is keen to have a kick again when commitments allow. Certainly won't play A grade if he plays at all......

My tips for Round 5:

Elizabeth v Plympton - 25 points, Elizabeth's form has been very good, but I think Plympton will be too strong
Kenilworth v Hope Valley - 11 points, I'll go the upset, Kenilworth will be desperate to get on the board on their home deck
Pulteney v Smithfield - both grades losing to Elizabeth at Anderson Walk does burn
Blackfriars OS v Westminster OS - 23 points, I've heard very good things about WOS, but BOS are hard to beat at home
Rosewater v Ingle Farm - 20+ goals, tough trip for the Farmers, Rosies also very difficult on their turf

Home ground advantage is more important than ever this year. Wins on the road are like diamonds. Likewise, dropping home games makes life very difficult.

Plympton to end Eliz unbeaten run
Valleys running game to be the difference
Pultney too many big guns
Blackfriars to bounce back in a tight one
Rosewater's backmen to get very cold

Well IMHO we don't have any stand out superstars for our team. Just plenty of competition for spots in the A's. Everyone is given a task and they set about completing that task to the best of their ability.
