Gees wouldn't that rip your heart out? Losing Grand Finals is one thing but to be 53 points at 3/4 time and lose. I can't get my head around that.

Not sure what game that was, but it certainly wasn't the 1957 Grand Final. The 1957 GF scores were:

East Fremantle 0-6 2-7 7-15 10-18 78
East Perth 1-4 6-7 7-7 9-8 62

Have to be Kevin. Trevor was still at North in 1979 (and 1980 for that matter)

It's not the biggest turnaround, nor even the oldest, but it's the one that hurts the most...

1978 Grand Final. Sturt 5 -ish goals in front at three quarter time, only to lose by a point.

Nearly thirty years later, it still hurts. Ouch :)

He didn't win a Reserves Magarey. He did play in a couple of premierships at Perth though before joining West Torrens.
