Reynella far too good sunday. Won most positions on the ground. Well done to all involved in organising the day. Right from brekky after the dawn service to the last drink of the night at some ridiculous hour, a great advertisement for suburban footy.

Think you'll find Mr.J has his head firmly buried in a coaching manual.

I heard he has actually been playing monopoly for the past 72 hours straight to try and get that damn 'get out of jail free' card!

CHRISTIES BEACH V ALDINGA ---- much too hot for Sharks
EDWARDSTOWN V REYNELLA ---- Townies have a great winning habit, but simply not as good as this crew
FLAGSTAFF v. COVE ---- could go all the way in 2010
MARION V NOARLUNGA ---- you're sacked, Rams
MORPHETTVILLE PARK V HACKHAM ----- surely this time for Roos
OSB/LONSDALE v BRIGHTON ----- Lions good last week, but this is the Bombers
PORT NOARLUNGA v MORPHETT VALE ----- by plenty. Starting to get a bit worried about Port for this year.

Tipping us? I think if it was at Hackham we'd be in with a chance, but the small oval doesnt really suit us at all so we will be in for a tough day...

Yeah yeah - only round 3 but put the boots in while a man's down why don't ya!!
We've played M/Vale & H/Valley that honestly we thought we would of pushing poo up hill.
BUT the Lonsdale game definately not acceptable.
Hopefully the boys can turn it around after a BIG realisation point on the weekend.
The joy of Football is you can always turn things around if the group is keen enough - so time will tell.
MY TIPS:
Christies Beach
Reynella
Cove
Morphettville Pk
Brighton
Morphett Vale
Marion in a close one!

I'd say Bice Oval would be the biggest bar none.

Correct me if Im wrong but the way I read it is that Twistie Park is small so Hackham aren't suited.... Not that Hackhams oval is small.

Watchdog,The comment was that Hackham are no chance because of M/Park being a small oval and that Hackham are a chance on the large ovals because QUOTE "we'd be in with a chance"!!!
My point is that Hackham have a large oval and the stats say it doesnt matter if they play on the moon!

Mate since Ive played for Hackham I have NEVER played Morphie Parks AT HACKHAM!!! This is the 3rd year straight that we play them only once, and its at their ground.

What im saying is we are a chance against MORPHIE PARKS if we played them at Hackham...

As Shoe Boy has already stated the Shoes were dreadfully unlucky with injuries during this game (a bit like the Crows v. Melbourne situation), but this man from the Valley can really play. He's going to make a big impression on the SFL.

i watched the game BTP and cant agree with you, kicked a nice goal in the 3rd but cant say he tore the game open

HH3 I'm not having a crack at you personally or at your club but I disagree completely at your comments about being a chance against Morphie Parks. If the oval you play on determine's if you are a chance or not, I think there lies the problem. Not the oval, but your mental attitude to a contest. Sure some teams may prefer some extra space but at the end of the day you still need to win the footy and kick it through the big white sticks more than the opposition. When you start believing you can do that against an opposition, little things such as oval size, colour of your jocks etc are irrelevant and you will find more success. The likes of centrals, morphett vale, willunga have a belief they can win finals regardless of opposition or grounds and that has to be admired. I'm hoping my club/s have that belief in 2010.

Any truth to the rumour that Michael Jones will be playing A Grade at the shoes next week? Hasn't played in a while but would still go ok.

Ill tell you why i think we're a better chance on our oval. Last year they had a lot of height...if they win the tap and clearence at their oval, they can pretty much have a shot from the center...which they did and kicked 40. If they win the tap and clearence at our oval...the goals are at least 2 kicks away...so more chance for our rovers and backs to put pressure on their forwards, force a turnover and rebound...

I go into most games believing we can win...take the Christies game...i honestly thought we could win that and the massive loss was pretty hard for me to take. And anybody that watches us play will see that the whole team goes about it with a great attitude. Our endevours there...we just need to get the skills right...we get a hell of a lot of the ball, but we burn it too often. Once thats sorted we should start doing ok...
