The strongly built key position utility had played mainly as a forward until the middle of season 2005, whereupon he moved back into the defensive half with good effect.
Pask, previously a virtual one-man forward line for the Western Magpies in the AFLQ, is trying to emulate Robert Copeland who established himself at the Lions after being rejected for a rookie list spot at his first try.
He showed good versatility when swinging back for the latter stages of last season with the Suncoast Lions, his good body work and timing on the spoil coming in very handy. In 2004 Pask won the AFLQ’s Rising Star award last year and was runner-up in the Western Magpies’ best and fairest despite an injury-interrupted first half of the year.
Is a long-time Queensland underage representative.
Dash says, he's been re-drafted, another rumour bites the dust
BPBRB wrote:My mail is that Ben Hart is to nominate for the draft so he may not be at Prospect yet? I understand (subject to the draft) that Luke Livingston (190 cm Key Position player CHB? Carlton), Adam Morgan (194cm Key position defender or Fwd? WB/Dogs), Trent Sporn (188cm utility Carlton) and James Allan (177cm on baller Werribee) have all agreed/signed to play at North.
Morgan and Livingston add height and size to our defence which apart from Schubert lacked size this year given the problems with Koops and the injury to Simon Cox. We did "uncover" McIntyre but he looks lost to the draft? I would expect the tall forwards to be Alleway, Weatherley and Gill (assuming he doesn't get drafted). Add in Shannon Motlop and I can't really see that we would need to many more in's except maybe for another ruckman (I hear one is being "pursued") given the way O'Hara ended up.
I think given our deficiencies last year and with those players leaving then the above mentioned recruits will be very good additions and shouldn't cause too many problems in settling into the North style and game plan. I would expect (or hope!) that North is a top 3 definate and a genuine contender in 2007? If not those "rumblings" presently will turn into some serious questions asked of the Senior coach and playing group as a whole.
All of these clubs have had ink that has just vanished

Shit, he's damaging....
Sorry, I didn't see the part in the thread title where it said they are only considered recruits if they're going to be "damaging".
The Whisper wrote:Vinnie Rugolo from WWT the latest name floating around...good chance of an announcement on a new club shortly. Other side of town, one colour remaining the same.
I have talked to my Norwood connection and Rugolo will not play for Norwood in 2007.
Rugolo has not signed for the Eagles as of today.
But he wants to be an Eagle in 2007

Not quite right - he is negotiating with North as to whether he will play - as he stated on 5AA last night. He said he will make a final decision early next week.
very interesting Port Adelaide...desperate measures down at Alberton...
LeCras was off back home to Perth after getting delisted by the Roos, in comes Port with an offer he cant refuse, $$$$$$$ in his eyes, he accepts verbally....girlfirend back in Perth not happy that he isnt coming home and Port hear about this and try to "arrange" her to come to Adelaide and move over her with her existing company (australia-wide company)....this is not initially possible as this company doesnt have any vacancies here...Port get a sniff of the deal falling through and calls the company and DEMANDS they employ her here, Port told where to go in no uncertain terms.....
AS it turns out a vacancy has now come about and she is moving here...but the way they handled this was very very unprofessional and seems typical of their knee-jerk short term recruiting strategy, not looking long term...just chucking $$$$$ around

I find this kind of attitude hard to believe from the 'Club Fos built' tm?
At least Norwood have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars, for exactly the same result, by not adopting Port's 'strategies' over the last few years.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

Yeah its great for you guys that Direen, Anthony Harvey, Robbie Neill, Ahmat all played for nothing.
I'm sure if the Legs had money they'd be active in the recruiting market, like they were a few years ago when they recruited those guys i listed above.
