what's that say about the rest of the "team"? the guy that Ty kicked 10 on get 5th best?

my days of trying to make the A's are over mate. if i had my way, i'd be sitting on the sidelines drinking your $4 beers from the opening bounce of the B's. i'm only there to help out on the field. so ya can have a dig at me for playing B's, but i've served my time in the 1's and now it's time for the youngens to step up.

i reckon riggaz only kicked 3 on me...i was put on him AFTER he started kicking goals...

anyway...i thought you were running marathons last year? what happened to that? i think its just the fact that the beers got the better of you and now you cant even run...maybe you should wear cricket shoes...i hear they're more comfortable for the larger of men...

from all your talk of ty, im surprised you dont have a posse' for him...seems like hes all you have...oh and riggaz...we dont have any big names...we just have 21, young, hard working, home grown (not from morphies) players that might startle you with their endevour that you may even fall off your esky...

This will be a good read on Monday....

Hahaha funny stuff vics01 but i think you know what shoeboy was reffering to. The idea has merit i think the only clubs who may disagree with the concept are those in the 6-10 region. The top clubs get their wish of competitive footy every week and the lower clubs wont have to deal with such severe beltings.

i actually thought he was referring to the Premier League as in a nil-all draw, as in the scores a Hackham this weekend may be comparable to a soccer game?

I think it was referring to an idea that the SFL put to the president's meeting last night. Creating a premier league with the top 7 clubs competing against each other and their B grade replacing their A grade in the main competition.

I sure hope you jest. What an insult that would be ! Remove them for a separate comp if you must, but making the lower sides play the elite's B-Grade ????? What a recipe for disaster !!!

From the quick explanation I got yes C grade steps up to B grade for the premier league clubs. That could create some issues with players who can only play on a Sunday. Would the top 7 clubs be big enough to put in 4 senior teams?

As to how serious, no idea.

Enforced promotion/relegation each year as well apparently.

This can't be serious!

Is this the leagues way of trying to save some face and not call it a Div 1 & Div 2, but a Premier League & and a Div "1"?

Enforced promotion means that the side that wins the Div "1" flag it needs to find an extra 25 blokes the following year, or even better still, what happens if a club that is already in Premier League wins the Div "1" GF, do they then have 2 sides the the Premier league?

Dumb idea!

Just get the top 8 clubs from this year in Div 1 and must have at least 2 junior sides and the rest can play Div 2! Simple!
