Interesting I've heard a former Townie to the Shoes for the same amount.
Could be the same player - playing each club off one another...

Lets just revisit your post.
"Word is Daniel Thomas full time at the raggies"
So you're suggesting we have our first full time coach of a SAAFL club

So you're going to stick with that rationale?

Ha ha, maybe he will coach, be the trainer, run the bistro, serve behind the bar and take the money out the pokies.

Further to BlueRose's comment, can you offer any idea as to what his job function will be on a day to day basis as full time coach of Athlestone?
Any idea what the pay structure is e.g 60/70k

Are we getting 'full-time coach' and 'full-time employee' confused maybe ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Quite possibly but that's why I asked what his job function would be though Queen Vic has gone missing since being asked to offer some substance to his/her claim.

Geez...talk about putting 1 + 1 together and getting 27. Daniel is coach at the Raggies, with an arrangement like any other coach at any other SAAFL club. He is changing jobs, but his employment is not at the Raggies.

Thought it was a bit odd, considering he left Salisbury to give himself some more free time...
Thanks for clarifying

Willo will be excellent up there, he came into our club a few years ago to take the 2s and earnt blokes respect almost straight away (especially the young guys), and went on to win a flag.
Top coach, and bloke to boot.

There's a tiny little hamlet in the Adelaide Hills that would pay him that and bit more in a heartbeat.
He'd be amongst former Port Adelaide teamates and many other football mercenaries and would just love the place, it's known as Hughesville.
