Sorry if this reads as a bit of an editorial but I think the current format of NAFA is working really well and while people may lament mergers etc in recent decades it clearly has been the way to go. Just looking at the ladder and the matches ahead on the football-online website (which is pretty handy by the way) and it looks set for a cracker of a finish to the minor round.Even Broughton-Mundoora have a mathematical chance of making the four from bottom spot! Great to see a league (albeit only 6 teams) being so close. Down here in the South East things are pretty much set with big gaps between ladder positions and the interest only being if Bordertown (lower %) can snatch a spot in the Elim Final from Kingston or Lucindale. Ours is an 11 team comp (once 14) but the interesting difference between KNTFL and NAFA is that our bottom 3 teams have only won 5 games between them meaning the only interest in their results has been when they have played each other for the crumbs. For what its worth my tip is BMW to crack a place in the 4 with some real momentum and Orroroo and my boys (JP) fighting it out in the last round for the right to play them...or Crystal Brook??

Seems hes got your vote "big boy" cos hes all youve talked about on this thread. I saw him play last week and I reckon he will get noticed by the umpires - especially since he stood next to them outside of the pack all day!

Woolford from southern flinders has the medal in the bag gun player you need recievers in footy & when you get between 30-40 touches a game consistently enough & boot 2-3 goals on top of that you will recieve votes
So my $8 on Brett to win is no good? Is there any truth to the rumour the young fella carries a pen in his sock just in case someone wants an autograph?

What, he's only played a handful of games! Has he seduced the umps or something?? PS very good of the umpire to disclose "confidential info" too, just what you need!

Something smells fishy here! Is that you Brett?
My spies tell me Matt Woolford (a number of vote takers in his team though) is a big chance if Chris Stacey from J-P doesnt get up. (Both Dads are umpires too).Daniel Baker seems to have had a good year also and got the "new kid on the block " votes last year I think so could be in the running too.
Have spoken to Centrebet in a desperate bid to get my $8 back that I so poorly invested on Brett Woodards to win the medal, they won't have a barr of it. Fortunately I put an autograph I received from him (during the 2nd quarter of Saturdays game) onto E-Bay and the bidding is up to $9.......Cha-ching. The mystery bidder is W.Boodards from Angaston, must be a fan.

Are they bothering to play the finals up there this year or are they just posting the medals to Southern Flinders?, Have seen Brett Woodards around Angaston in his 2010 Premiers t-shirt already, I thought the team had all signed the back of it but on closer inspection realised Brett had just signed it 21 times.
