I need to know:
When you spray your hand with deodorant- really covering it, and you apply a flame to it...
Why doesn't it burn your hand, and make you run around and say rude words loudly?

Re: I need to know....
I was always told coming in also - but some people believe the opposite...lol.
But I've always said if someone handed you a $100 note - which hand would you reach out and grab it with??
And that to me is the answer

No idea but i have always wondered this myself. It might be because of the alcohol and what is in the can.

I NEED TO KNOW!
The bugler at the Anzac day services, who plays the last post.
They play this emotive tune literally hundreds of times, and it is rare for someone to fail at it.
You rarely see someone misplay the notes, and they could play it in their sleep.
WHY do they have, on top of their instruments, the notes...?
Always gets me.

I believe it is because, to the "small country folk" like myself, it is a massive step up, in terms of partying/shopping/entertainment...
I went to a club in Adelaide a few weekends ago, got an ID check (no biggie), photo taken for security (a tad over the top), then my fingerprint done (well "Hello Jebus!")... That happens in a small town, you call the staff a bunch of tossers, and you go elsewhere.
In RADelaide, totally worth it...
So much access to shops and such there, it is a huge step up... Old hat of course, for living Adelaideians...

I have called Adelaide Sadelaide some times because of the lack of change in the place.

Howdy folks,
I have a serious one (sorry!
).
Does anyone know of a place that will convert slide photos to digital format?
My old man has a heap of slides of his dad's that he wants to convert to ensure their preservation.
Thanks in advance.

The more volatile the solvent the more likely it is that the vapour, flame, and heat, will rise rapidly and thus do less harm or none to the underlying surface.Strawb wrote:No idea but i have always wondered this myself. But be careful experimenting.
