not only did they scrap the rememberance they also scrapped that ep about half-way through that is basically a re-cap.

I think she deserved to win
She definitely outplayed them
She gave them a good reason to vote her out before going into the final 3
I still have no idea why they kept her????

but I did love some of the arguing between some of them over loved ones. some people just couldn't accept that it is a game and not reality!

it was one of the better seasons in recent times.

yeah, agreed the new series looks interesting. Gotta cheer on the underdogs!

Survivor is over for another season

Bit disappointing that it seemed they showed less of the camp towards the end

Agreed, less camp life and more challenges, mind you, I like the challenges.
I think the main reason for the reduced camp life footage is because there really was very little strategy this year.
Get Mike out. Damn, he won immunity, ok, remove the lowest on our totem pole. Repeat.
There were very few big blindsides. No-one really jumped ship on their alliances, it just played out as expected.

Great effort by Mike to win though, his run was basically the only saving grace of season 30. Other than that, there wasn't really a storyline worth mentioning, hence the beat-up about the sexism on the reunion show. Nothing else worth talking about.

Wont happen next season, with everyone coming back for 2nd chances, reckon there will be lots of strategies and blindsides!

well hopefully there is more strategy, but I think some players will get targeted early and some will go knowing that it will be extremely hard for them to win


its also a shame that they don't have a prize for the fans player of the year, previously was sponsored by Sprint, but hasn't been around for a number of seasons.
it was good they didn't worry about doing the walk at the end, where the final 3 go through those that have been voted out before them and also good they didn't do the update episode at the halfway mark.

Yep, started off slowly but built up to be interesting finish. Once Ben got lucky with the final twist and having the chance to survive winning the fire challenge, I thought he would beat Chrissy 5-3.

Was a bit easier than that, think he deserved to win. Chrissy played a good game too, but really made no big moves which probably cost her with the jury.

Next season should be interesting with past players who stuffed up getting a second chance.

I enjoyed the season.
Ben reminded me of Russel finding immunity idols.
Ben got lucky towards the end with the idols and that final challenge.
But I was cheering for him.
Chrissy annoyed me during the season. But Chrissy spoke better at the final tribal than Ben.

I didn't read it that way, I thought the items they used incorrectly, or failed to use at all, would be back in the game, not the players themselves. Perhaps its both? Perhaps I totally missed the point! haha

Hence those in power from 8 to go remained in power throughout.
Interesting to see a tie, though the reading of the votes in Fiji gave that away.
Personally I would have awarded Dom the win for his Bluff with 6 left, but that offended the bleeding hearts and ultimately appeared to cost him votes not earn him any!

Agree, think Domenic deserved to win too. Tough position for Laurel to be in to decide who won the million bucks, owed Wendell for giving her his idol, and owed Domenic for not making her start a fire. Have always wondered what they did in a tie, now we know. Next season looks interesting too, with David vs Goliath the theme. Show still wins the ratings in US so still going strong after 36 seasons!

Yeah, she also admitted during the final tribal that it was Dom that brought her into the alliance, not Wendell. Then again, I still expected she'd go the way she did.

David vs Goliath I recon would be good if they did it in the physical/athletic sense. Instead it sounds like they are more going down the path of privilege which I'm not sure will have the same impact.

Thought Dom probably deserved a win. But its rare to have 2 heavyweights at the end.
Agree she was always voting wendell.

But the reunion show now is not what it used to be, speaking with the players about various happenings, its all about promoting other shows....and the next season. I mean the Kevin Hart show is basically Its A Knockout!!!

Ended up doing a bit of a binge watch even though I saw the winner on the 9go site.
If Dom just shuts the f**k up a bit instead of a 30 minute speil every tribal he'd have gone close.
Why was'nt Donathon beaten like a red headed stepchild on day 1 just for his name & haircut.
Reckon the Asian fella on the 2nd(I think) trial should have just walked off after his pathetic attempt at diving for the lever, hardly got his ears wet.
