I wonder when it came to the last game and no one had tied with Priddis whether the AFL decided to give Priddis 2 to avoid the Fyfe embarrassment?

Think Priddis had a decent last game but dont think he made the top 6 best for his side on the AFL website

Thought the same
Think Priddis had a decent last game but dont think he made the top 6 best for his side on the AFL website

just how they are expected to reliably judge best on ground as well as try and umpire a game ill never know. its just impossible.

as jim said, coaches association award is almost more important now imo

I find it funny that a player doesnt make the AA team and then goes on to win the brownlow, shows there's a flaw somewhere in the system. Congrats to Priddis on his brownlow, he seemed a very humble winner

Has there ever been a winner that 'Didn't deserve the Brownlow' I would think not. The crap I've read on some facebook posts ridiculous.

Well done to him I say forever a Brownlow medalist.

Definitely a midfielders medal. The funny thing is: if a club has the choice between a gun mid or a gun key forward, I reckon the key forward gets picked every time.

Who wins and polls well in the Players MVP, the Coaches Award, all the Media awards? The MIDFIELDERS!!

The only awards defenders like Talia do well in are Club Best and Fairests.

Nick Reiwoldt, Wayne Carey, Corey McKernan, Gary Ablett Snr, Jason Dunstall, Tony Lockett and Paul Roos all say Hi.
The Brownlow is irrelevant these days. Leigh Matthews medal> Brownlow and its not just a mid fielders medal like the Brownlow.

Love that Priddas despite winning the brownlow will be inelagable to represent Australia in the up coming Internation Rules series as he has never been an All Australian, comical
