Unlucky for Doohan, probably not performing at the level though but still not a lot of time given. Alpine copping a bit of backlash for their driver trials but I dont mind it. Evaluate and decide. They will probably turf both of them and bring in Bottas or something anyway. Seems unlikely they will go back to Doohan and I doubt another team picks him up from here.
I suspect Alpine saying Colapinto is on a 5 race trial is probably a bit of PR to simmer down the backlash against dropping Doohan. Colapinto brings in huge sponsorship money so can't see him too being replaced this season.

Well well that didn't last long, Flavio says no five race limit for Colapinto.
Briatore has now gone against his team’s statement.
“I have to say, I also expected more from Jack Doohan - maybe he needs a break,” Briatore said to Sky Italy on Friday at Imola.
“Franco will race as much as needed - I read somewhere that he’ll have five races, but no, there’s no set limit on his races. He needs to be fast, not crash, and score points. I’m only asking him these three things - not 10.

Oscar absolutely brained them and still the commentators fapping over Lando finishing second.
Max lost the plot and rammed Russell near the end and should have been black flagged

Not sure it was a stitch up, Lando needed a different strategy as he wasn’t going to get close on 2 stops … Oscar should have still won and basically had 5 laps to overtake him once he caught up.
Ferrari LOL … they could be the only cars on the track and still not win with their comical strategies. Poor Charles, it was probably the angriest I’ve heard him on radio and he took it out on George in the track
The Red Bulls are going backwards fast, they may not even compete for podiums next year they way they’re heading.
Hopefully the new regs shake things up next year. If anything, it will reset where teams are so there could be some surprises on the grid.
