AO take a leaf out of this pitch

You do realise that the same technology and methodolgy is used in developing the AO drop ins as the MCG ones? In other words the MCG and Adelaide oval drop in are basically the same style of pitch.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Basically but not indentical

The MCG defiantly offers a lot more than AO

Characteristics of the wicket is down to the soil used. Clearly Adelaide uses different dirt to Melbourne.

Why do you think CA imported soil from India to create spinning dust bowls....

Yeah, good point, the Adelaide Test was boring as batshit, especially the last day.

Sitter, I've taken harder ones in my time at 1st slip

You have, but have also dropped easier ones :)[/quote

not in the slips! May have a dropped few in outfield, but what sort of Captain ;-) puts a slip fielder on the boundary.

Aus v Ind Test Series

Post by RustyCage »

Scored 140 in his first class debut, against SA. coming in at number 4 when Qld were 2/8. Made 41 in the second innings coming in when Qld were 2/16

Interestingly from the February 2011 game, only 1 Redback is still there. Our team that game was

D Harris
J Smith
C Borgas
A Blizzard
D Christian
G Manou
C Bailey
K Richardson
N Lyon
B Edmondson
P George.

Qld won by 94 runs
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run
