Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
Thats half the issue, the media are loving COVID, its getting them clicks and hence $'s, and saves them having to go look for other storiesLaughingKookaburra wrote:When the number 1 news story on Adelaidenow or any other major newspaper in Australia is Covid related and is free to read then there is a still an immediate cause for concern. When the free Covid stories start going down the page then the immediate threat is lessening. When there is a “scare” and you still have to pay to read it then it’s the media trying to sell subscriptions.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
My guess 0 too, back to L4 restrictions Wednesday and off to work we go. Early results in SA so much better than other states in early days of lockdown - shows the lockdown timing was right.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
I'm expecting another couple of cases given the tier 1 locations visited.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
Was bit worried about that too - think they said 125 people at winery and 40 tests back (7 of them positive). That has to be concerning.Dinglinga75 wrote:3 #covidlotto

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
I can't believe there are so many people who were at the greek and tenafeate that haven't been tested yet. As soon as it became a tier one site they should have been forced to be tested within 24 hours.
That was monday night, it's now Friday FFS.
We the public get 6 hours notice of a lockdown yet SA Health can't get 200 tests done in 4 days???
Stop testing 18,000 irrelevant people each day and stick to the target testing.
By the way, have we ever had a positive test come back from someone who wasn't identified at a tier 1 or 2 site?
This open slather approach and letting the general public clog lines cause they walked past a tier 4 site is just wasting resources.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19)
I would've thought they'd either have a dedicated station for those identified in the tier 1 locations, or send a health worker around their house to collect the tests.Trader wrote:We the public get 6 hours notice of a lockdown yet SA Health can't get 200 tests done in 4 days???
