Got called away to the hospital yesterday after my lad got kicked in the nuts messing about at school, had a hematoma and was getting no blood supply to his golf ball sized haggot so was then rushed to the WCH from Modbury.

They were thinking of operating but in the end it was preferred that it heal naturally after all the scans and ultrasounds showed there should be no permanent damage, pretty scary ordeal though, he was in absolute agony and I could feel the pain.

Bloody hell, thats worst nightmare kinda stuff, hope your lad's on the mend ASAP mate

It was, I can't handle seeing my kids hurt, they generally have strong thresholds so I know they are serious when they show it.

Sadly they’re removing his testicle tonight, I feel broken and sick

It cost him an association batting, bowling and cricketer of the year trophy but he ended up coming back for the Grand Final, didn't play at all last season though.

He handled it better than I did, his first night at Central try-outs he introduced himself as one-nut.

He's always smiling and always positive, he just has to guard his other one with dear life, he can't really get a prosthetic until he's 18-20, otherwise they'll be lop-sided.

When we came back from his brain operation I said "Geez, that's a pretty impressive scar behind your ear"

His reply "If you think that's impressive you should see the one on my ballsack"

Same with my evap AC. Quoted 400 to replace a solenoid valve I found online for $30 and did it myself in 10 minutes.

noon: Looking forward to knock off, ride, gym and stop in for some shopping afterwards as I prepare my list.
2pm: Might just do the gym, don't know if I can be bothered with the ride.

800. That’s the number Daniel Andrews should be reflecting on.

Rather than gloating, he should take responsibility for 800 Victorians who died in the second wave caused by his hotel quarantine fiasco.
