looks like they are launching some telstra tv style streaming box for people that dont have fetch TV or an optus broadband connection. wonder how much that will be up front.
they also mention satellite but no mention of how it is delivered. If it was $15 a month to add it to my foxtel i would probably do that
From what I have read elsewhere there will be no additional foxtel channel for the epl and that you will have to have some form of Optus service to be able to get coverage

Thanks for the tip...downloaded kodi last night and the add-ons...don't have to worry about it now but hopefully in August will be able to still watch some Spurs games
Foxtel are adding 3 new channels as they have acquired the rights to MUTV, Liverpool TV and Chelsea TV, these are 24 hour channels that will show every game during the year as well as youth games, training, highlights etc. The only setback is games will be delayed not live[emoji20] Arsenal, City and Spurs will also have their TV shows screened in blocks on the other Foxsports channels

A bit rude to people who don't support those 6 clubs and even if you do follow those clubs no live games. I'll stick with my alternative, going to be a big shame for the many supporters groups that catch up for games each week too.

Optus are copping a lot of heat for this, dare say that after a year they will have to on sell their rights. They stand to lose a fortune as they can't guarantee their service will be in HD.

so they bloody should, I wonder when Foxtel will realise the severity of their bullshite decision to sell the rights. pricks

I don't think Fox "sold" the rights, Optus just blew them out of the water with what they bid.

Yep, Fox wanted the right but the price Optus paid is foolish

Optus can't even provide Australian's with decent phone coverage, you can just imagine what a debacle their Fetch coverage will be.
You can't blame Foxtel for losing the rights, it was Optus and their ridiculous blind bid. Such a shame because Foxtel's coverage has been exceptional over the years. I'll be streaming these games or using an overseas league pass through a VPN.
I really hope this comes back to bite those pr1cks from Optus in the ass.
