Mackay R5 #1 - Pretty sure Grub got chased out of this town back in the early 2000s following a dodgy footy report submitted to the EP Tribune. Could have been someone else too.

It has been brought to our attention that Garret Lynch's winner at Streaky Bay means he has now trained a winner at all 24 current racecourses in South Australia!

The last trainer to achieve this feat was the late and great Mick Whittle, who won at 31 different South Australian racecourses, including Iron Knob, Barrow Creek & Kimba

Rosehill and Doomben both abandoned today.

Can’t remember the last time two major Saturday meets were cancelled the same day
