Put some pre-sale TAB tickets on today. But old dopey me, I had the wrong race. That was ok for the tri's and pick 4's because they instantly rejected as there are no numbers above (about) 16 in race 8, but I've now got 50 on the 14 in R8.... at 61s.

And it wouldn't refund. So I decided after 15 mins of the bar staff being on the phone to the TAB, to forget cancelling it and keep it. Let's hope the old saying of 'never cancel an incorrect bet' comes true.

Im actually looking at backing that one today, Doudle is probably the dodgiest trainer in SA at the moment, his horses are going very well, dont think he's taking it across the border for a training run

My grandfather, bless his soul, would bet on two flies crawling up a wall.

As kids, he told us the reason there was a TAB near his house was because they built it there so he didn't have as far to go to put a bet on. He also had a tips board in the smoko room at lunch that's he put his tips on. Loved to gamble.
