I got 3 good bottles of Shiraz, a pair of sunglasses, a canvas print of me and a grand daughter walking along the beach at Port Vincent with a dozen pelicans (love it) and a pie maker.
Might have to make a beef and shiraz pie. Probably not today though.
Did ok this year, got the Shane Warne (half way through reading it certainly has opened my eyes up) and Bob Murphy books, new sneakers, a small treadmill which slips under your desk and you can do miles galore whilst doing paperwork and sitting down (not sure what value to my buldging stomach that will do)

I got the Shane Warne book too, am loving it. Bob Murphy's should get your fire started in the winter, id rather watch a MCG boxing day test which is just behind running my finger nails down a chalk board.

I got spoilt this year, mainly house stuff- A large clock for my dining room wall A Vax Cordless Mini Vaccum cleaner (matches my normal vaccum cleaner) Ryobi Pressure Cleaner Screwdriver Set and Allen Key set A bookshelf for my hallway An Almond tree Red Dead Redemption Two Bunnings Vouchers x2 New Wallet JB Hi Fi voucher
A few odds and ends, but I did get Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my son.
This year was the first year where he fully understood the lead up to the day in the eyes of a child - the prep for santa and the presents on Christmas morning.
Seeing him so excited on Christmas eve, organising the reindeer food and santa's cookies and milk, getting his santa sack on the bed ready for his gifts - no amount of money or presents can buy that. Christmas morning just magical.
Given his mum will now get the next couple of Christmas eve's and the myth of santa will be revealed, what I got was memories that i'll treasure for a life time.
Merry Christmas, ya'll. Hope it is a joyous time spent with loved ones. Looking forward to what 2019 has in store.

Marion before Christmas? You may not make it out alive
As it turned out thte trip down Marion way fell through and I finished up at Burnside Village and had to park down the Coles end - shopped at L'occitane and a little gift shop more or less opposite. In and out in 20 minutes, then straight to Dan Murphy's for other essentials...
