Have you organized the shirts yet js? The imparja lads will have uniform but I guess it will look better if all are wearin same? Thoughts? I think the imparja boys would prefer their uniform.

we were aware that impatja probably had their own uniform, but in keeping with the spirit of the day deceided that for the $20 per player entry fee they should have shirts and hats provided as well

the jumping castle is for the young kiddies, as we dont want the problem of the older fellows teeth falling out and then trying to work out which teeth belong to who ;)

Goat Herder wrote:Okay Everyone, here's the deal..

Just spoke to Cuz, who's meeting right now with duck-mann and from C&CCA we need the following ;

6 U23 C&CCA players to play in a combined PDCA/C&CCA U23 side against the SA Imparja Cup squad ;

12 Over 33yo players to play in a 20/20 match vs PDCA, and ;

12 players to play in an Open/Senior match vs PDCA - aka 'The Showcase'.

The program is being discussed right now and will be advised later on today I'm assuming.

$20 per player, which will include a shirt & cap provided by SA Footy & event sponsor, JS Sports.

Please PM me ASAP to register your availability.

I assume someone from PDCA will be organising their sides and component of the U23 side.

Thanks! 8)

what about the guys aged between 23 and 33 who are not in the top 11 for the association match !! its meant to be about having fun and raising money for a great cause and guys are being excluded !!! just my opinion

but other than that looks like a great day

we havent ment to exclude anyone from the day. the fact is we need some sort of criteria to go on. Especially considering we only have a week to organise. if you want to play, let goat herder know and we should be able to fit you in somewhere. its not like we will go around checking licences and the age of participants!

yeah i realise we need structure and criteria and i don't mean to be a stick in the mud just seems a little odd thats all !

I just assumed the early games would be made fun and that anyone that was willing to play could , followed by a showcase of the main game with our best talent on show !

As it is being arranged through SAFOOTY, first priority for matches should be given to the people with the most posts.
Unfortunately I think that makes Catchit Captain.
