Lol - worse than an Eagles crowd. So much for the 4,000 Ravens fans who can't even get up for a 'Showdown'.
5 mins up Port Rd from Alberton, where are those supporters?
Hell they couldn't drive to footy park from Alberton do you think two minutes up the road they could make it I'd love to know how many Port fans actually live in the port area when I lived there more fans of other sanfl teams lived in the area

Speaking with a few born and bred (like 3 blocks from the oval) Port friends on Anzac Day, they all consider the Magpies dead, and whilst they're massive Power fans thy think the AFL club involvement has killed the SANFL.

Would be seriously amazed if there were 2000 at the Parade
Doesn't matter as long as tweets are up along with website hits. I had numerous website log ins. I can't get the app to work and the website is the most mobile phone unfriendly site I've seen.
The saviors of the comp. Probably also reiterates why the Ravens have no interest in hosting 9 games a year. Might as well keep being the 'nice guys' and allow the other clubs to reap the benefits of hosting them.
On a more positive note, after a meagre 15 wins over the past 5 years (but who's counting..) South U18s sit atop the ladder after the opening month. May be finally attracting/retaining some decent teenagers. No doubt some will soon be filling some gaps in our pretty ordinary ressies team.

You had a very good 16s team last year, so many of those would have progressed up to 18s this year and would be bottom agers.
Lost a close final to miss the 16s GF last year, so you should have a good 18s team next year too depending on how many progress to the senior grades.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

They have some very talented kids in there, all linked back to when Bamford started with these kids as they came into the 13&14yo development squads
