Excellent story about Fleetwood Mac.
When they toured Australia in the 70's they had to have a carton of Heinekens, had to be Heineken, at each concert venue.
When the band arrived for the show one of the groups entourage would pop the top off all 24 of the bottles ( which, back then, fully imported were like French champagne, but drinkable ) and pour the beers out. He'd then line up the 24 bottle caps on a small table side of stage and proceed to fill each one with coke. Not Coca Cola.
This was for Stevie and Mick to "get them through the show" and to ( LMFAO ) ensure they "didn't over do it, they had 12 each".
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

I would have thought October would have been between footy and cricket season and Adelaide Oval be the preferred venue?

Re: Bands coming to Adelaide
Hard & Heavy Rock Fest - Enigma bar - Saturday May 16th from 8pm
Burn Collect, Life Pilot, Hailmary (Perth), Ice On Mercury, SE BON KI RA
Breaking the mold from a stereo typical line up of bands. The night starts off rock and progressively gets heavier ending with SE BON KI RA as the only metal act on the night. Be great to see all you rock pigs and lovers of bands that normally don't come out to a metal show. Hopefully see you at the event!

I'd rather see a Hole reunion with Eric, Melissa and Patty. Although Kristen Pfaff is no longer with us, it would be the closest we'd get to the Live Through This lineup.
Possibly 'cos of Courtney Love that Kirsten Pfaff is no longer with us.
Patty wasn't clean either, and I know Eric had drug issues, but I think the blame should be with the one that chooses to partake.
I'm sure she partook but that's not what I'm implying
