Easy answer for North Pines. Man up and be on ultra best behaviour or fold. Smithfield seem to have learnt their lessons and have been promoted as a result of their improved behaviour and hard work in the football deparment. I hope for smithfield sake they have learnt from their experiences in the under 18's and continue with their success.
What happens to north pines now is purely up to them. No blame game, no whinging. Are you going to man up and play football?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Smithfield would be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Long term successful clubs have great junior programs, under 15's to under 18's are extremely difficult ages to deal with unless you have a seasoned coach with the same group and can identify kids with short fuses.
The Smithfield committee sat the under 18's down on numerous occasions early on in the season to read them their rights, they plucked 3 kids out after a trial match where they were undisciplined and asked them in front of the group why the club should stick by them, if their answer wasn't satisfactory, they were told to find another club.
They couldn't have made it any clearer what their requirements were, if they got sent off, they missed a match.
It leaves them in a precarious position as to see if harbouring an under 18 group is worth it, you can't control brain farts and sometimes it is near impossible to tell who they can come from within this age group.
