How shattered do you reckon these three are that Westminster got up on Saturday? Instead of a light stroll to Glandore they get a two-hour round-trip to EP instead.
Aha funny you say that, I was talking footy with a guy I work with on Friday who plays for CLG and he was hoping EP would win the GF so they didn't have to make the big drive again next year. Come Saturday that wasn't to be and with Smithfield coming up they now have a bigger drive on their hands. I suggested hiring a bus, we've done that when we've played cricket at Coromandel and Port Noarlunga. The drive home is great fun!
North Haven are currently taking applications for an A grade coach for season 2017 If you know of anyone interested applications close on the 16th of September. There is a link on the amateur league website but you can email to lucas@elmachomes.com to submit Cheers people

We had a fairly good run this year, we don't mind sharing it around
Yeah ando is done TT has been with our group now for 4 years and done a super job. Club is deffinitely in a better possition now than when he first got involved, looking forward to seeing who we get applying for the job, team has finished 3rd two years in a row so we feel it would be an appealing job, see what happens in the next few weeks

I know applications haven't closed yet but heard on the weekend Gary Howden already has the job.
A guy at my work was with Gary 2 weeks ago and his words were I will be coaching NTh Haven in 2017.now he is either super confident or I assume has been told from the club.
Regardless of who will take over at Havens. It has to be said that Lippo has done a brilliant job down there. Although the results in the past finals have been disappointing. To get to that point and being able to recruit the caliber of players they have is a credit to him and the club. Very much have a lot of respect for him and whatever club decides to contact him or get him across, he will be a big asset. Unless he decides to stay in some capacity at Havens then they will be much stronger. I was sad to see him go from the Dome and all that went with it a few years back. The dome hasn't been able to fill that gap. All the best to Havens next year. If they can keep the team together and improve in some areas they will be much more competitive later in the year.
