yeah that infuriates me as does the failed attempts to log into other leagues pages. I can only get Adelaide Plains and that's it

Think you'll find it's more like $25 -30K, but still a fair sum to start off the season behind. The treasurer thought he'd done a great job when the books nearly balanced, then the club received an invoice from the president for around $25K. The rest is history!

Y did he quit? Do know that they haven't picked up many new players...

I note with the Eastern Park lads cleared to CYC there are a couple who wouldn't want to be getting too much coin. One played only B & C grade(Packham) all last year so can't see him being of much value except making up the numbers..

Long way to travel just to play B Grade. Plenty of other clubs between Eastern Park and Yorke Peninsula. Not even petrol money?
It's a Community Football Board contract, which governs all forms of amateur football. You need to sign one of these when signing a player clearance. Any other internal club contracts are generally not worth the paper they are written on.
The CBF contract is different, where you sign a lazy player who doesn't train or show any enthusiasm during a game.

Well, not really, not every player is offered a contract. However, if you do then it is not valid and also worthless until the transfer is approved.
well i suppose thats what the appeals process is for. if any player sits out of the game for a season cause he wants to see his brother or mates play in a different league would be a shame. not saying thats whats gonna happen but am sure its happened in the past. would a player being knocked back for this reason give a $hit if he was forced to play for the club.
